Celebrating the publication of Professor John Michael Wallace’s new book Gilbert Walker’s Enduring Studies of Climate Variability

Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, organized a function on 20 February 2025 to celebrate the publication of Professor John Michael Wallace’s new book Gilbert Walker’s Enduring Studies of Climate Variability. Several dignitaries including Prof. G.K. Ananthasuresh, Dean, Mechanical Sciences Division and various other academicians and researchers who have shared a great bond with Prof. Wallace attended the function and shared their experience and knowledge of Gilbert Walker’s extensive contributions and Prof. Wallace’s extraordinary efforts to collate the selected works and bring about this valuable contribution.
